The critically endangered hawksbill turtle is a highly migratory animal that lives in tropical waters. sea turtles are in danger from pollution. Around  52% of the world’s turtles have eaten plastic waste.

All sea turtle species are at risk from plastic. it’s not just ingesting plastic that causes problems for turtles. Entanglement in abandoned fishing nets can easily kill them through drowning or preventing individuals from escaping predators or hunting.
